Listen! We know that Jesus is coming again. He is coming with tens and ten thousands of His angels. The end is here with us, many of us are interested in the wrong things. We want to know the signs of His coming, rather than knowing what we need to be doing.
It is good to know the signs of His coming but better to know what you must do, and best to do what you can. Remember the day of the Lord is as a thief in the night and we must be ready.
[Matthew 24:3 KJV] “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”
The following are some simple things you can do to escape the dangers of the last days ;
1. Beware that no man decieves you:
Many shall come claiming to be the Christ. There shall be many deceptions in the last days. We must beware, lest we get deceived. There are many false doctrines and teachings. Many of these teachings and doctrines will be enticing, we must be careful, lest we get deceived.
2. Endure to to the end:
The Bible teaches that there will persecutions and afflictions and many sorrows against the church and the Christ. Until we have decided to endure to the end, our love will wax cold and we will give up. The truth remains that only those who overcome to the end shall be saved. Let us resolve that we shall overcome to the end.
3. Partner with us to preach the gospel:
The Lord taught that we must preach the gospel of the kingdom in all the world. Many of us have heard about the signs of the end; but we have not been taught the wisdom of the end. We don’t know the wisdom and what we must be doing. One of the key things we have to be doing in this last days is the preaching of the gospel.
We must preach the gospel in all the world. That is why you must partner with us as we try to reach the world through television, radio, literature, internet, street and mass crusades.
In Luke 8, Jesus had His twelve and certain women who followed.
4. Pray that you flight will not be in winter:
Prayer is one of the key things we must be doing. We must pray that our flight will not be in winter. We must also pray we will be counted worthy to stand before the Lord and to escape the things that shall come upon the world.
5. Watch for the day because nothing will stop:
The fifth thing is we must be watchful. The truth is nothing will come to a stand still. People will be marrying, trading, and partying. Everything will continue till the end comes suddenly; if you don’t watch, you might not see when the changes are taking place.
6. Be faithful servants:
Because of the many exciting and sensual things that will characterise the day; many may be lured and enticed by the sensuality.
Many will forsake their ministries to join in the eating and drinking and partying and marrying and the distraction; but only the faithful servants shall be welcomed into the rest of the Lord. Only those who continue in their calling and ministries shall be welcomed to rest.
These are the six simple things you can do in anticipation of the day. I pray that you shall be faithful to the end and be blessed.
