[1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 KJV] “And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves”.
The end of all things is at hand; the Lord is at hand and we cannot joke any more. The Lord is coming, and coming very very soon. The church must arise and get ready for this great day.
One simple secret that helps the church to get ready is to know those who labour among you, and are over you, and admonish you in the Lord; and esteem them highly in love for their work sake;
You will do well when you know those who labour among you and we must esteem them. It is the anointing you honour that will bless you. The nature of the work is such that, until you esteem those who labour among you highly, they will not be effective.
We all understand the role of the preacher in the matters of faith and grace. I pray that you will know those who labour among you. The sheep must know their shepherd. In this generation of multiplicity of voices, the sheep must know it’s shepherd and the shepherd’s voice. God indeed feeds His flock in folds and by shepherds. Know those who labour among us and esteem them highly in love.
When we learn to do this, we will excel and the church can serve us better. You shall not fail, the Lord shall keep and sustain you. May you be blessed; you will win!
