[Hebrews 10:5 KJV] “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body hast thou prepared me:“
As we step into the next season, let God prepare you for the task and challenges ahead. It is dangerous to try to step into the coming year ill-prepared. There is serious kingdom business ahead and you must get in there prepared. God is ready to prepare you from the task ahead and you cannot mess up.
The Lord will use your daily quiet times to prepare you for the task ahead: Quiet times are very important.
“The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.” (Isaiah 50:4 KJV)
If you want to become exceptional and live an extraordinary life, practice quiet time. Find a solitary place and wait on the Lord every day. In fact, solitary is not so much about a physical place, it could much more mean a mental state.
Let us try and find time either in the morning (See Mark 1:35) or late at night (See Matthew 14:22-23) or in the heat of the day to be alone with God in meditation.
Sit, stand, or lie down in a relaxed posture; Switch off the lights and just relax. Keep your pen and paper close by to take notes. Spend the next few minutes praying, singing, reading, listening, relaxing, and journaling. Remember this is the time to be filled with the spirit, for your spirit man to be conditioned to recieve from God, and to be directed. Please, whatever you do in 2023; strive to keep the morning watch!
The Lord will use the wilderness and the wild beasts in there to prepare you. God prepared David by the lions and bears in the wilderness.
“Blessed be the LORD my strength, Which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:” (Psalm 144:1 KJV)
The Lord will use the tutors in your life to prepare you. There is a way that God uses teachers and tutors to prepare you.
“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be Lord of all; but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.” (Galatians 4:1-2 KJV)
