[Colossians 2:6-10 KJV] “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
I want to exhort you on the need to walk in Christ as you have recieved Him. It is important to beware lest someone spoil you with philosophy and vain deceit. These are the two key weapons by which the enemy fights the saints. He uses philosophy and vain deceit; and unless you are careful, he will spoil you.
There are many men who lie in wait to deceive, and many have been deceived. This is the season and time to be vigilant so that you are not deceived. There are many deceivers out there. Let us be careful as we go through the day and the motions of life. Many of those talking are just talking. We will not allow any man outside of Christ to talk us out!
Philosophy is more speculative rather than observational.
Let us be careful especially when we live in a day and time when men are making any sweeping statements that hold no water. The days we live in are dangerous and if you are not careful; you will be swept from off your feet in the faith.
