We have work to do. The will of Him that sent us is that all men shall be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. God wants us to turn the nations from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.
[John 4:34 KJV] “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
We have work to do. We must arise to do and to finish it. This is the time to arise to reach the world, both at home and abroad, real and virtual. We must arise to preach the gospel, teach the truth, and minister to the world.
Why we cannot sleep anymore
We cannot sleep anymore because:
1. Hell has enlarged her mouth:
Hell has enlarged its mouth because the people do not know, and their honourable men are famished. The multitudes are dried up with thirst; many are going to hell rejoicing. They do not even know what awaits them.
[Isaiah 5:13-14 KJV] “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.”
2. Many who began in the Spirit are being perfected in the flesh:
We need a fresh revival. We need to awaken our men and people again. Many are so backslidden. The church is sleeping
3. Many do not care about the things of God anymore:
Many have gone back to fishing. Many ministers are giving up. The world of mission is suffering. Many are leaving the work. Let us arise and put our hands to the plow. This is the time to arise and work.
How can you join in?
1. Let us gather to sing, pray, study, plan, fellowship, give, and volunteer to reach out to the world around us; home or abroad, real or virtual.
2. Eat your bread with gladness
3. Leave nothing behind:
Fall in love, marry, give birth, build houses, and plant gardens; but whatever you don’t leave the missions.
4. It does not matter where you are, preach the word:
The Bible says early church preached the word wherever they scattered to. Please let us study, practice, and teach the truth to people around us and those we meet.
This is the time to manage your time, plan your day, set goals, and clean up your to-do list. The harvest cannot wait anymore. Please join in!
