[Mark 16:14-15 KJV] “Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.“
I want to exhort you to step out this Saturday and preach the good news to your community. Remember, we are called to go and preach, not to come and sit. You must step out and preach the good news! We cannot continue to sit and warm the pews; we must be on the go.
Let’s decide
Every good endeavour begins with a decision to do. Until we decide to step forth, it may never be done. Failing to plan is planing to fail. Without a concrete decision, many things will be left undone. Let us make up our minds and step out.
Let’s pray
In Luke 10, the first instruction, the Lord gave those who decided to go is to pray the Lord of the harvest to send more labourers. This points clearly to the fact it takes the Lord of the harvest to bring in the harvest. Apostle Paul taught how first of all prayer and supplication be made for all men.
Let’s prepare a message
There must be a clear message to be preached to the audience. Our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples exactly what to preach when they go out. We must have a clear message, so do not run off without a message.
Let’s plan our route
Where are we going? What will be the route and the path? Which next town or village should we go? Jesus went to all the villages and towns, and there, He preached. Jesus wants us to go to the lanes and streets and preach to all men, compelling them to come in, so that the house may be full (See Luke 14:22).
Let’s go and preach
This is the time to go and preach. Let us preach the gospel and share our testimony. Tell them what you have seen the Lord do with your pastor. What are the testimonies? Show them the signs, wonders, and miracle. Tell the story again and again!
Stay blessed!
