Choose to Listen

The story of our Lord Jesus Christ’s visit to the house of Martha reveals one of the greatest keys to maximising the benefits of the New Covenant and soaring above the challenges of life and everyday living. We understand from the story that one thing is needful. That one thing is to sit at the feet of Christ to listen to the word, and Mary chose this.

Everything begins from hearing the Word. Health, salvation, deliverance, safety, all have their root in the Word. The word is important, and nothing is more important than listening to it. (See John 1:1-12)

Salvation come through speaking the word of faith, and faith itself comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (See Romans 10:6-17)

So, hearing is a key thing. Your life above the challenges of everyday living depends on it.

• You catch faith by listening to the Word of God.
• You catch the anointing by listening to the Word of God. (See Ezekiel 2:2)
• You receive strength and wisdom for living through listening to the Word.

Now to effectively soar above the challenges of life through listening, you must;

1. Listen through preachers of faith. These are men who can be accounted of as stewards of the mysteries of God.
2. Listen by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
3. Listen by hearing through visions and dreams and supernatural mediums.
4. Listen by hearing right; beware of how you and what you hear.
5. Listen and mix the Word with faith.

Listening to the right voice and the right things is crucial to your ability to soar above everyday challenges.

Remember, the things you see and hear can knock you out and crush your spirit, in the same way, it can lift up your spirit and give you new strength.
