It is important to live with eternity in mind. No matter how long you grow, we are going to be here for about a century, and then death ceases upon us. We must all strive to live with eternity in mind.
[2 Timothy 4:7 KJV] “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:”
I have seen people living lavishly, marrying wives, building houses and feeding sumptuously, who died and their memory was forgotten. There is life after death, and we shall all face eternal judgment. I exhort you to live with eternity in mind.
The Bible says we brought nothing into this world and surely, we will take nothing out; but we can lay up treasure for ourselves in Heaven. We can lay up treasure where we will spend eternity. I believe that is the most important decision to make. How then does one live with eternity in mind?;
Fight the good fight of faith:
The Bible is the most authoritative book of covenants. Everything written in it must fulfill, there are so many things promised in its pages; these are the things we ought to fight for. We must engage in spiritual warfare, we must fight till we win.
Finish your course with joy:
The second tip is to finish your course with joy. There is a course set before you which you must chart. You must determine to run your own race in your course. I pray for you that you shall finish what you started and not fall away from your calling. You will finish your race, and not turn away from the living God. I speak against anything projected against you to sweep you off your feet.
One day, a young lady was projected and planted in the life of a young man to distract him from running his race in his tracks. The lady was sweet and charming all the while until she succeeded in getting the guy to backslide, then she turned into a monster and began to torment his life.
I speak against any strange personality assigned to monitor and track you down. May the hand of the almighty protect and keep you.
Keep the faith:
We all have faith. We all have convictions we have kept till date; keep the faith. Your convictions must be Bible-based and sacred to you. May you keep the faith to the end. You shall finish your course. You will not fall by the way. You will keep your shield with glitz. Nothing shall drown your faith. You shall triumph as God’s gallant man!
We may be here for a little over a century, but after death, we step into eternity; An eternity with God for some, full of peace and joy; but for others, it is an eternity of sorrow and retribution. I know you will live with eternity in mind. Be blessed.
