[Proverbs 10:12 KJV] “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins”.
To love more is to make excuses for people; and cover the multitudes of their wrong. Love covers multitudes of wrong. Most often than not we judge people but God shows them mercy because He sees what we don’t see. Often we don’t see their tears, we don’t see their sadness, we don’t see their pain, we don’t see their struggles; we only see and focus on their mistakes. On the contrary, God sees their tears, sadness, pain, struggle, and also their mistakes.
Very often, we get surprise that God shows great mercy to those we judge and condemn. Isn’t it surprising how God gives grace to those we judge and condemn?
The Bible says God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy and give grace to whom He will give grace. Those who receive this grace are those who are not perfect nor strong; those who are weak and continue to admit their need of a savior and helper and depend on Him.
The truth is, I am still strong and running not because I am strong and have it all together, but I keep running because I am weak and continue to admit my need for a saviour and helper; and I depend on Him.
May the Lord help us to cover multitudes of wrong, and may He take us deep in love and mercy.
Be blessed, I love you;
