I want you to exhort you to make time and not excuses. We have work to do; the work of winning the world and turning the kingdoms of the world to God.
[Luke 10:1-3 KJV] “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.“
The harvest, according to the Lord in this regard, is plenteous but the labourers are few. We cannot therefore make excuses and shirk our responsibility to preserve the harvest of the Father from decaying.
The Bible teaches that the son that sleeps in the time of harvest is a shame to his father. This is the time for the harvest; it is time to step in and preserve the fruits. We must go forth and preserve the harvest from decadence. I know you are busy and have so much to do else where but this is the field if our Father. We are charged with the saving of the nations. We must arise to;
- Pray for the harvest; to pray for all men and for people in authority
- Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send more labourers
- Step into the harvest with wisdom and humility to preserve the harvest from rotting.
We have a charge to keep; a never dying soul to save, and keep it for the sky. We must make time. Nobody has the time! But everyone can make the time through careful time management. We must make the time and not excuses .
Come with us as we work the field of souls. You may volunteer to go to the foreign soils; another may anchor close to home, just to hold the neighbour’s hands in prayer. Some fields are blooming now, other fields are dry! We must make time and not excuses. There is a reward and wages for every workman in the field of souls both in this life and in the world to come.
