I know that many of you want to do more, and in fact, more is possible when you are ready to engage with the right keys for living. I believe that this generation must be inspired to go for more and be more. It is about time that we break the hold of mediocrity and rise above the low life we find all around, and begin to work hard for more.
I want to exhort you today on some simple secrets that make all things possible. I am sure many of us will wonder whether it is possible to make all things possible? Yes, it is. With men, it may be impossible but it is possible when we learn to do the following;
- Believe
- Rely on God
- Adapt to all situations
I believe with all of my heart that we can get a lot done by engaging with these keys.
The first secret to a life of possibility is exposure:
Even if you ever try, you’ll most often than not aspire for the highest good you see around you. Very often, what the younger generation is exposed to is what informs their aspirations. When an eaglet grows up among chicken, it behaves like a chicken. Until you are exposed to something higher, you will settle for the ordinary.
This is why very often when God wants to transform a generation, He sends them a prophet who starts talking about things the people have not yet imagined or dreamt of. The prophecy then begins to shape their vision and perspectives. I pray, therefore, that you shall receive the right examples and perspective to life. I pray that we shall begin to aspire and look beyond merely becoming comedians, socialites, ‘slay queens’, and village champions. May God begin to shape our desires and perspectives for more, Amen!
The prophet Ezekiel could revive the dry bones because he had an encounter with God. His exposure to what is possible informed his actions and choices. You have chosen what you have chosen because you have not been exposed to what is possible.
The second secret is to believe in possibilities:
Many of us are not getting a lot done because we are not believing in the possibility of things. Sometimes, we throw in the towel and give up because we don’t believe that what we are pursuing is attainable.
The best gift you can give your future and your self is to believe that all things are possible. That you can believe that what God is showing you is possible and that He is faithful and able enough to cause it to happen is the best gift you can give yourself.
Lot failed because when God rescued him from the destruction of Sodom and told him to escape to a place he shall possess, he rather opted for small mountain close by. Many of us want to operate in our comfort zones because we are unable to believe that more is possible. I pray that from today we shall arise and believe and go for more.
In Mark 9:23, we see the Lord ministering to a man who had just been informed that his sick daughter has just died. The already bad situation got worse, but the Lord told him that all things are possible if he could believe. All it would take was to believe that things can change. “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”. Now I speak to you specifically that if you can believe that this church will grow, then you will see the church growing. If you can believe that your womb will be opened, then it will be opened. All things are possible if we can believe., Amen!
The third secret is to commit yourself to depend and rely on God:
My favourite scripture is the fact that by the arm of flesh shall no man prevail. There is an extent that flesh and the strength of horses can take you, but there are certain places that only God can bring you.
In Mark 10:27, we learn that certain things are impossible with men, but possible when we learn to depend on God. “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men, it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” We are serving the living God who can make all thing possible. All things are possible if we can rely on God. Many of us fail because we are striving in the might and strength of men, but “by the arm of flesh shall no man prevail”. Beloved, you must learn to trust and rely on God!
Don’t try to do it on your own, you will fail. Let us learn to rely on God and we will win. The Lord always makes all things possible.
Finally, learn to cope under different situations and circumstances:
Let us learn to adapt to the changing scenes of life. Learn to live both in abundance and scarcity. We must learn to adapt because sometimes life will not give you what you want. In Philippians 4:13, we learn that Apostle Paul, through learning, had developed his adaptability coefficient, and he wrote, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. He had learnt to live under all circumstances.
Many of us don’t do much because we are always depending on our strength and might to do everything, just getting on in the might and strength of men, instead of believing and depending on God.
Stay blessed, I love you!
