The true measure of a man is not determined by his wealth, education, achievements, experience or anointing, but by what it takes to discourage him.
“Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord , and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord . And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord , and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. And Satan answered the Lord , and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord , and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips”. (Job 2:1-10 KJV)
You know why I believe this? Ephesians 6:10-18 teaches that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, rulers and spiritual wickedness. We wrestle! In a wrestling match, the loser is the one who gets so broken that by the third count, he is still unable to lift a finger.
Almost always it does not matter how wounded or broken the wrestler is; as long as he keeps lifting a finger, he is still in the game. That is why the holy spirit does not compare our walk to boxing but to wrestling.
What can God ask you to give up? What will it take to discourage and break your front?
You must have radical faith if you can walk into God’s best and destiny.
The man called Job lost his wealth, family, health; indeed, he lost everything but one, his life. At a point in Job’s life, the only thing he had was his life; yet this man will not be discouraged nor be broken. That is how great he is. Imagine serving God with integrity and in the darkest moment of life, heaven is as cold as steel. Job held on to his integrity even when heaven was quiet. That is how great he is.
Radical faith listens:
Radical faith listens even when it does not make sense. Come out and follow me! And Abraham went out not even knowing where the path leads. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith that interprets what it hears by the word of God. When the 12 spies sent by Moses brought their report, the children of Israel like Joshua and Caleb should have heard the report through the filters of the word.
Radical faith acts:
Radical faith acts even when it does not understand: Abraham when he was called, believed and went out not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:7
Radical faith gives:
Faith is willing to sacrifice. Faith will give and give again even when it is not convenient: Abraham gave and gave and gave even Isaac. Faith is giving. How much people are willing to give shows how much they believe in you. Faith will commit. When we believe Christ, we trust him with our lives. (Hebrews 11:4, 17)
Radical faith forsakes:
Hebrews 11:23-29
Radical faith speaks:
Faith of things to come. Faith speaks of what it shall be or could be: Joseph told Israel that God will take you to Canaan, carry my bones with you. (2Corinthians 4:13; Hebrews 11:22)
Radical faith prays:
Luke 18:1-6 teaches that radical faith is to pray till there is an answer.
Remember the real champion is the one who overcomes to the end and overcomes lawfully.
Stay blessed; I love you!
