“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:” (1 Peter 4:7-12 KJV)
If there is one truth I wish every man alive today would know, it is the truth that the end of all things is at hand. The end of all things; when the heavens shall roll away like a mat and the Earth shall melt with fervent heat. The end of all things when the ungodly shall be gathered unto perdition, and those who trusted Jesus to pay for their sins shall be gathered unto life eternal. This is what we are waiting for. The Scriptures say that the Earth and the works thereof shall melt with fervent heat (2 Peter 3;10, 12).
When we understand this truth, it would affect our choices and decisions and lifestyle in this end times. We would make more godly choices and decisions as a result. I pray that you will get this truth today. This present world is passing away and passing quickly.
What does this truth means?
If the end of all things is at hand, then it means that;
1. Iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold;
There shall be a falling away from the faith; an apostasy that have never been. (Matthew 24:12; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)
2. There shall be many lying signs and miracles;
The days shall be very dangerous; very perilous times shall come.
3. The devil is working more fiercely now than ever:
he has great wrath and a determination to deceive as many as is possible. (Revelation 12:12) The devil is working more assiduously to deceive more and more people; you shall not be one of them in Jesus’ name!
But the last days is also a time in which;
4. Grace will also abound:
Because iniquity will abound grace will also abound. That is not to say that we would continue to sin; we would rather access that grace to love by the nature of Christ which we received. (Romans 5:20-21, Romans 6:1)
5. The glory of this later house shall be greater:
God is about to pour upon us unprecedented grace and anointing and power. We must therefore position ourselves to access that glory. (Isaiah 11:9; Haggai 2:9)
6. The Holy Spirit shall be poured:
In these last days, the church shall walk in unprecedented power. We can walk in great power like never before.
We as a church must position ourselves to recieve this grace and bask in the glory that shall be poured on this latter house. This is the time. We must step into the harvest and experience double. I pray that the Lord shall awaken us. May we never fall asleep nor fall into a slumber!
1. Be sober and serious about life:
You must think clearly, keep life simple and don’t believe in vanity. Many of us running after worthless things. We are deceived by the glitz and glamour. We pick things by the packaging and not content. Many may be deceived by lying sign and wonders; many are deceived by the deceitfulness of riches and the beautiful things of life.
2. Watch unto prayer:
The second guide to strategic positioning is to watch unto prayer; take nothing at face value anymore. Nothing just happens. Things happening are always much deeper than they appear. The Scriptures are clear on what we must do. The scriptures instructs us to WATCH UNTO PRAYER. The Scriptures did not say you should go looking for a prophet to reveal things to you, but rather, watch unto prayer.
3. Love each other with a passion:
Love is literally what makes the world spin. When we learn to love each other, we would make room for each other’s failings and foolishness. Listen! we must step into the blessings, grace and abundance that God is pouring upon the church in this last days. We must step into the grace and blessing of the end times, and love is the key that opens the door to abundance. Love opens doors and prepares us for the coming abundance.
4. Show hospitality:
Hospitality is one of the least taught doctrines of Scripture. Many of us think about ourselves and make no room for others, but we must welcome people into our homes without grumbling about it. We must make room for others in our lives. Have others in mind when you are budgeting. Hospitality is a secret to receiving angelic ministration. There are many angels that have been released in this end times and we can recieve angelic visitation when we learn to show hospitality.
5. Serve each other with your gift:
Everyone of us have been gifted by God. We are not the same , but each person has received an appropriate gift from God; we must be ready to serve others with the gift we have received. Some have the grace of speech and others have the grace of help and creation.
Let him that have received the gift to speak, preach the word and not useless gossip. Your speech must be seasoned with salt. You must spend your time spreading the good news of Christ, and not useless gossip and accusation.
If you have the gift to serve and help, do it according to the strength God provides. Do what you can and don’t ever complain.
6. Let everything be done to the glory of God:
Let everything be done to the glory of God. God will not share His glory with any. God will not share His glory with any man. Let all things be done to the glory of God. Let nothing be done out of vain glory. This is the secret to blessings.
7. Think it not strange when you go through fiery trials
Facing trials as a child of God is not a strange thing. When you face trials, don’t make a big deal out of it, rather rejoice! Rejoice and be happy and press on gallantly.
We will not miss our season. I love you, stay blessed!
