Thus saith the Lord, the Lord that brought out Israel out of the land of Egypt, “open you mouth wide and i will fill it.” This is the time to untie God’s hands. This is the time! We cannot afford to joke and mess up. We cannot and should not limit God. We must look up to God in the heavens with the expectation of those who wait for the latter rains. God is waiting on us, He is ready to pour out His grace but we must be ready.
The latter rain does not rain for anybody; everybody waits for it. Job is teaching us how people waited on God. They waited as for latter rain. “And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.” (Job 29:23 KJV)
We must open our mouths wide, ready for infilling. The infilling of the Holy Ghost; of wisdom and understanding. It is time to walk with an open mind and great expectation. The Lord is telling us to open our mouths wide. As we walk with the Lord, we must walk with Him with great faith and expectation and readiness to receive.
As Elisha was walking with Elijah, he (Elisha) was alert and ready to receive a double portion. He was alert and ready. When the chariots of fire arrived, he was so alert that he took a hold of the mantle. The prophet said “if you see me as I am taken, then you shall receive a double portion”. Elisha needed to live everyday ready and on the go. He wanted and desired a double portion, and God gave him the double portion.
Are you ready for double? Double of everything in the next twelve months? Then be ready; open your mouth wide. God is getting ready to fill you. He will fill you. Come into His presence with an expectation to receive blessings and anointing. We must come before Him always with a hunger for more of Him. Open your mouth wide and He will fill it.
Indeed, someone must open his or her mouth wide; it is time to expect more and receive more. We are building up our selves on our most holy faith. This is the time to take God at His word. God is working; He is still working. You cannot fail, only open your mouth wide and see the Lord fill you with His fullness.
