There are times when we all confront seemingly impossible situations in life as the King of Syria attacking us with armies. Sometimes, the things we are confronted with seemingly insurmountable, but with the right counsel, we can overturn every enemy attack.

[Romans 15:4 KJV] “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope“.
Reference text:
[2 Chronicles 32:1-8 KJV] “After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself. [2] And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem, [3] He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him”.
[4] “So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water? [5] Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance. [6] And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying,”
[7] “Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: [8] With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Discussion:
Many years ago, the King of Syria attack Israel and laid a siege against the cities. Fear and panic gripped the heart of many, but the king of Israel prayed and exhorted the people to get their act together to win. The king took counsel with the mighty and wise men and began to strategize for victory.
In his exhortation, the king Hezekiah pointed out that he had faith in God. He exhorted the nation to be courageous and strong. Fear is a thief and would rob any people of their victory. The king exhorted the people to be strong. It is my prayer that you will be strong and arise to fight off every enemy. Sennacherib cannot win. He does not have the final say. We can make him succumb.
You must, however, do the following;
Admit that you cannot win on your own. The arm of flesh will fail you, but you can make it with the help of God.
Believe that God will not disappoint you. God will be your helper and keep you from shame. He will not forsake His own.
Faith, however, produces two results: confession and obedience. You must speak what you believe and act wisely. The king spoke comfortably to the people but he also gathered the fighting men for battle.
Benediction
I pray that God will remove far from you any evil attacking you. You will be safe and far from evil. You must arise to fight off every enemy.
Stay blessed; I love you!
