[Acts 13:1-3 KJV] “Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. [2] As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. [3] And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away”.
The quest and decision to plant micro-churches in every city may remain a mirage until we separate people who can travel extensively
1. Preach and teach many in every city where they go:
Church planting involves preaching and teaching. The missionary team must therefore be trained and skilled to preach and teach.
2. Confirm and exhort the souls of the disciples to continue in the faith no matter what happens:
The Lord has sent us to go and bear fruits that must remain. Your ability to retain the people you win is important, and we cannot over look it.
3. Ordain elders in every church:
It takes a team to win a city, so we must be able to raise others to help us in the ministry.
4. Pray, fast, and commend the church to God on whom they Believe:
We must have extensive periods of prayer and fasting and commending of the church to God.
[Acts 14:20-28 KJV] “Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe. [21] And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, [22] Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
[23] And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed. [24] And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia. [25] And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia: [26] And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled. [27] And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. [28] And there they abode long time with the disciples”.
If we separate people who can do the work of preaching, teaching, confirming, exhorting, ordaining, praying, fasting, and commending men to God on whom they have believed, we can plant and grow micro-churches all over the world. I believe and declare that the Lord will help us to grow the micro-churches. Be blessed!
I love you;
