“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:17-20 KJV)
We have power to thread upon serpents and scorpions; in fact, we have power over every power of the enemy. Jesus Christ has given us that power and authority. We must therefore arise and use that power. We have the authority and power over every power of the enemy. We can and we must use that power.
This is the time to walk in that revelation. This is a deep revelation to know by experience; that demons can be subject to you. Not everybody knows this truth. Not everybody understands and walks in that revelation. Our Lord Jesus Christ was grateful that at least these babes knew this truth.
Today, I want to exhort you to walk in this revelation. I believe the more we become aware of this the better we are able to walk in dominion and authority. He gave us power. We have the power and we can release it through speaking, prayer and positive action. We have all been given the power for everyday living; arise and use it.
Today is a new day; expect big things; exercise your faith by engaging positive action. There are times when you may feel powerless and not feel the anointing but you have the power. You have the power to thread upon serpents and scorpions. Arise and withstand hell.
