[Psalm 34:1 KJV] “I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” REF: PSALM 34
I want to exhort you to praise through the storm. We want to think through Psalm 34, the psalm David wrote when he feigned madness before Abimelech who drove him away. He sang and said, “I will bless the Lord at all times: and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Let us explore seven things that happen when you praise God
- God stirs Himself as a man of war and begins to do wonders (See Exodus 15:11)
- God empowers you to bind kings and nobles with fetters of iron (See Psalm 149:1-9)
- Your praise in the midst of the storm confuses the enemy (See 2 Chronicles 20:20-25)
- Your praise shakes the foundation of opposition, gates, and grounds (See Acts 16:23-26)
- God empowers your spirit to act (See 2 Kings 3:15)
- Your praise drives away devils and neutralises their effects (See 1 Samuel 16:14-17)
- Your praise promotes the culture, teachings, and tells of the wondrous works of God (See Colossian 3:16)
Remember that your praise must;
- Be loud
- Teach and admonish
- Be accompanied by instruments that are skillfully played
- Come with clapping and dancing
- Be in faith and prayer
Stay blessed
