“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” (Luke 22:31-32 KJV)
We can not continue to be critical of one another and expect to win in our fight over evil. We are losing the battle against evil because we have become too critical of each other and we are losing our sense of empathy.
As your pastor for over a decade, I have felt the painful effect criticism but God has seen me through. Today, I want to encourage you to start interceding intensely because that sister; that brother sitting next to you is fighting something you have no idea of.
The kingdom of darkness is buffeting many but your intercession will do much for them. If only you will be less critical and start praying, we will win against evil.
May the Lord touch your heart to pray for the people in your life. We must all spend this week praying for others. We must step in and battle for our brethren. Heaven will rejoice if we would spend time on our knees praying for our pastors and friends and brethren.
Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed for Peter, He never criticised him. He prayed for him.
Thank you for praying for a brother or sister.
I love you!
