[Matthew 13:13-15 KJV] “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand;”
“And seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest at any time they should see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And should understand with their heart, And should be converted, and I should heal them.“
I believe one of the greatest problems of this generation is the lack of understanding. Many in this generation hear the word, see the visions, and feel every poking but can’t understand what is being revealed to them. There are many in the valley of decision dying because they lack understanding.
This is the time for us to arise and pray that the Lord will graciously give us the spirit of understanding which shall make us quick with understanding. This is the time that you shall hear word and not miss the important revelations. This is the time that your understanding should be enlightened. This is the time. May you never miss the rhema of the word. May the spirit of understanding be poured upon you right now.
The spirit of understanding is the spirit of team building. The building of the Tower of Babel stalled because they did not have understanding. The listeners could not decode what the speakers encoded in their speech. The spirit of understanding is the key to team building. I pray that God will give us understanding.
If only, we knew how to receive truth and knowledge; as well as to apply same to real life situation, many of us will do well in the faith. When the sower went out to sow, some fell by the way side and these are those who heard the word, but could not believe because they could not understand! I pray for the spirit of understanding and the ability to engage with truth and revelation.
We must pray for the spirit of understanding for the church, our audience in the mission field and also for friends and family.
Stay blessed!
