There is no free-fall to success, so resist and press into the kingdom now.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it (Luke 16:16 KJV)
We know that the kingdom of God is that place or realm where you are able to live in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost by grace. The pursuit of the kingdom is an uphill adventure. You must be willing to endure and press on into this blessed realm of life here on earth and in the world to come.
One of the greatest enemies you will face in your pursuit of godliness are demons that steal the Word of God from your heart after it is proclaimed to you. We know from the parable of the sower that demons can steal the seed when they are sown (Luke 8:5-15)
Now if the kingdom is preached and every man presses into it, then you must not lose the Word when it is preached to you. You must press into the word when it is declared.
One of the greatest enemies we face in our quest to enter this kingdom is unclean spirits. These unclean spirits are Satan’s evil agents assigned to create doubt about the existence, purpose, and goodness of God concerning his creation. These unclean spirits hide behind causes and frustrate men everywhere in the pursuit of goodness and peace.
We understand that these unclean spirits are real, powerful, intelligent and crafty; but they can be resisted and cast out by those who know and believe the truth, humble themselves under God, and resolve to resist them in faith.
I exhort you to resist them steadfastly if you are really serious about enjoying a higher life in Christ. You know why? Unclean spirits, if left unrestrained, will destroy your life, manipulate you, weaken your ability to resist sin and evil, and destroy your possessions (Job 1:13-19)
It’s time to resist! Arise and resist steadfastly. Press into the kingdom. You can press in by:
Believing the gospel:
Believe the good news when you hear it.
Energising your inner man:
You can energise your inner man by;
- Continue steadfastly in fellowship and doctrine;
- Pray without ceasing; sing and make melody in your heart;
- Believe and confess the word of faith;
- Break bread with joy;
- Exercise yourself unto godliness
Living with contentment:
You can do this by;
- Accept everyday as a gift from God;
- Eat your bread and drink your wine with joy;
- Groom with poise and integrity;
- Live with your partner with joy; and
- Work with might, ethics, wisdom and skill at what your hands have found to do.
Everyone is pressing into the kingdom and you also must press in and win.
