God has a program He is running in every generation and dispensation. Heaven has a vision and program for every generation of men in every dispensation. He shows this program and agenda to His servants the prophets and they write them on tables. It is essential to understand that God will do nothing except He shows it to His servants the prophets. Our responsibility, therefore, is to find, read, and run with this program.
[Habakkuk 2:1-2 KJV] “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”.
[Amos 3:7 KJV] “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets”.
We read how in Acts 13, as certain teachers and prophets gathered together to pray, the Holy Spirit spoke to them. There is always a divine agenda that is being run; which God shows His servants the prophets. In Acts 13, the Lord spoke to them and revealed His agenda for that season and moment.
The Bible tells us that God showed His works to Israel, but His ways to Moses. “He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel”. [Psalms 103:7 KJV]
If there is something that our Father is telling us by His prophet in the writings on the wall and on tables, then we must listen and do it because God shows His ways to the servant and His works to us. That is why I always say that “Leadership is always about seeing where God is leading and taking men there.” For every generation of men, there are servants of God who have written God’s divine mandate and instructions clearly and plainly on tables. Our responsibility is to;
- Find
- Read, and
- Run the words of our Father
By the grace of God, our Father has written something to us. He has written plainly both on the walls and on tables. Find several writings and books at http://highcity.org and at http://simpebediako.com
Our trump card to success and prosperity is to find, read and run with the vision. The Bible tells us in Joshua 1:8, that we will make our ways prosperous if we find, read, and run with what the servants of the Lord have written.
One of the major causes of bondage, and failure, and captivity is refusing to run with the written code and vision of your father, the servant of God. Many destinies have been delayed because the generations of men refused to run with what they read. Many have become impoverished because they only read without running. Many years ago, the prophet Daniel was explaining how Israel went into captivity. He explained that it was because they had not kept the word of God.
[Daniel 9:10 KJV] “Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets”.
Many are unable to stick to what God has revealed by their father, the servant of God because they are weak and timid. Weakness and timidity are the number one cause of disobedience. The Lord, therefore, told Joshua to be strong and courageous. It will take strength and courage to keep the word in the Book of the Law. We must be strong and courageous. There are so many things around us that will try to side-track us;
- Peer pressure
- Mockery, hatred, and intimidation of those who wish we never rise, the Sanballats and the Tobias
- The rebellion of our brethren and the mixed multitudes,
But with strength and courage, we can press forward. We can make it if only we can be strong and courageous. Just find, read, and run with what the prophets have written on the tables and walls.
