[1 Peter 5:8-9 KJV] “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world”.
The word of God is exhorting us to resist the devil steadfastly in the faith; by being;
There are simple reasons why each of us should resist the devil steadfast in the faith.
Nothing makes room for the devil than anger. The Bible encourages us not to make room for the devil. Don’t allow the sun to go down on your anger.
[Ephesians 4:26-27 KJV] “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil”.
Do you know why you should kick the devil out? Well, the following are 3 strong reasons why you should not give him an inch;
1. The devil is an adversary with an agenda:
The Bible says “our adversary the devil is walking about as a lion seeking whom he may devour”. He steps out with an agenda, he comes out to devour and to kill completely. You cannot entertain a beast that is seeking to devour you and things in your life.
2. The devil is perpetuating affliction around the world:
None can run from the battle, and there is nowhere to run to. Whatever you are running from here, will confront you right where you are going when you get there. There is nowhere to run to, so you must stand firm and confront the beast.
3. The devil will take a mile if you give him an inch:
The Bible tells us that when devils gain access, they begin to destroy things and make your latter state worse. If you allow demons to gain access to your life, they will destroy you.
[Luke 11:24-26 KJV] “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first”.
The devils are evil spirits that fight the progress of our lives, but the Lord has given us weapons to overpower and defeat them. If you allow devils to gain access to your life they will ruin it. Devils afflict and devour, we must kick them out. Don’t allow them the slightest space, you will be surprised at what your end shall be if you allow them.
I exhort you to resist the devil, give him no room or space. Kick him out, resist him, don’t allow him to wreck what God is doing around you. I know that you can win. I know that you can kick the devil out. I am persuaded that change will come and God will cause you to win.
Stay blessed, I love you!
