[Luke 13:31-35 KJV] “The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord”.
Inasmuch as we know that there is real evil out there that seeks to steal, kill and destroy; we know that it is the will of God to gather us as the mother hen gathers and broods over her children. The Bible tells us that our houses shall remain desolate unto us until we learn to receive, preserve, and bless the prophets that are sent to us.
Many homes and houses are desolate because they are unable to receive, preserve and bless the men sent to them. The prophet or the men sent to you are the agents of life to you and your household. The day a prophet comes into your life or house, that day life follows. Your faith is connected to whom you believe. God is willing to gather us under His wings as a hen would her brood. We must be willing and yield to Him.
I came online to exhort you to save your house from being left desolate. It is time to receive and honour the men sent to us. Today, there are many imposters and thieves who carry themselves as prophets, but that not withstanding, God has reserved to Himself many more men and women who have not bowed to baal. When you learn to receive and preserve and bless the men God sends to you, you will fill your heart with great treasure.
The house of Israel was left unto them desolate because they did not receive, nor preserve, nor bless the prophets and men sent to them. This was a generation that killed their prophets and hence their houses was left to them desolate. We can walk out of poverty and desolation when we learn to receive and honour the prophets sent to us.
The Bible tells us that whosoever receives a prophet as a prophet, receives the prophet’s reward; and whosoever receives a righteous man as a righteous man, receives the righteous man’s reward. The prophet you receive can bless you. The anointing you don’t respect cannot deliver.
I pray that from today, we can receive and honour the men sent to us. You will not be desolate! You will be full and increase! Your seasons will fulfil themselves. As you receive, preserve, and honour the prophet, may the Lord gather you unto Himself and favour you!
