Shifting into the Promise

[Deuteronomy 7:1‭-‬2 KJV] “When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; [2] And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:“

We have all received dreams, visions, and prophecies for the decade and for our lives; this is the time to arise and activate these dreams, visions and prophecies!

I want to exhort you, therefore, on shifting into the promise. The secrets of stepping into the promise and how to fully manifest your potential. Ephesians 3:20 teaches clearly that there is a power at work in every one of God’s precious children.

[Ephesians 3:20 KJV] “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

This power is, however, a potential that requires activation and manifestation. That potential must have expression to bring us profit. All creation is waiting earnestly and groaning in pain awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God. There is a potential in you that is seeking manifestation, and you must manifest that potential. What you carry is for the world around you. The world is waiting to see you give birth.

[Romans 8:19 KJV] “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”.

Listen! Just as Mary carried Jesus, who was given to the world, you are also carrying something that is meant for the world. There is a dream, vision, and prophecy you carry that is meant for the world around you. This is the opportune time to manifest it fully for the benefit of the world. You will not fail, you will fully see the manifestation of the seed God has deposited in you.

I am speaking on shifting into the promise. A promise in this context is actually like an invitation to treat from God. Isaiah 1 says “if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.” To activate this in your life, you must realise that this is the time you must arise to show that you want it. For instance, God has promised to save the world and sent His Son to pay the price or ransom for our salvation; we know that the Son of God died for the sins of all the world, yet only those who personally confess and ascent that they want this salvation are saved. We, therefore, understand that when God gives a word, it’s an invitation to treat; we must indicate that we want the covenant in order to key into it.

To shift into the promise, you must do the following;

1. Read and understand the promise:

Habakkuk 2:14 teaches that those who pass by can read and run. You must run when you read. If you are the one writing, please use plain language; let everyone that reads understand what you mean. A clearly written vision will sort your friends and acquaintances for you. When you show clearly that you are not in for jokes, jokes will not come around you. You must read and run with your promise. There is something your pastor has written, read and run with it. Israel did not just move into the mountain, they moved into a land that was clearly demarcated, and they had clearly written boundaries. They knew where they ought to be living and who they had to relate with.

2. Prepare for war:

Apostle Paul taught Timothy clearly that he needed to war a good warfare by prophecy. You must seek the Lord and pursue the prophecy by warfare. As we step into the promised land, we must be prepared for war. This is because we are going to possess by warfare. We are going in to fight and cast the enemy out. There are many things out there that are trying to fight and stop you. You must arise to fight and to possess. It takes warfare to possess.

3. Despise and burn down their idols:

The greatest secret to overcome as a Christian is to despise what the world treasures. To “love not the world nor anything in it”. If you treasure what the world treasures you will conform to their patterns. You must not serve what they serve. You must serve God and do His will only.

4. Occupy till He comes:

You must occupy your portion until he comes. You should not allow anyone to take your place. There is a place reserved for you and you must occupy. You must fully prepare to fulfil the mandate on your life.

Be blessed, I love you!
