The Bible tells us that blessed are those who die in the Lord. They shall rest from their labours and their works shall follow them. We want to live blessed lives. We want rest from our hard labours and to have good works that can follow us.
The simple truth that can help you to die in the Lord is to form godly habits after you have believed and are baptized. So, what are these godly habits? Form the following habit;
1. Listening to the word of God:
Every believer will continue to grow and live when he or she continues in the word. The day you stop listening to the word, you stop growing.
2. Reading your Bible and other Christian literature:
You will finish your course if you form the habit of reading Christian literature and the Bible on its own pages.
3. Keeping only Christian friendships and fellowships:
Your friends and associates will, in many ways, modify and affect what you believe. Evil communication will corrupt good manners.
4. Partaking in the Holy Communion:
Breaking of bread, both in the church and from house to house is a Christian habit that will help you to finish your course.
5. Attending Church services:
We need regular Christian fellowships to stay alive and washed. In fellowship meetings we are;
- Fed the truth
- Refreshed by prophesy and
- Washed by the water of the word
- Sharpened by the countenance of others
6. Sharing your faith:
Share your faith with friends, family and everyone you meet. You should tell your friends and family what meeting Christ has done for you.
These are the simple keys that can lead us to live a blessed life. You can have rest from our labour and good works shall follow you. Be blessed!
I love you;
