The first step to any deeper spiritual experience is to receive the message of hope with gladness.
Many of us are not growing into deeper dimensions of the spiritual because we receive the message of the bible grudgingly. You must receive the message with gladness if you can move deeper. The Bible tell us that on the day of Pentecost, the apostle preached and those who received the message with gladness were baptised.
The psalmist said “I rejoice at thy word as one that finds a treasure” great treasure” (Psalm 119:162).
The word of God is as precious pearls. It’s a treasure and of great value. Those who find it have health and healing.
Whenever we are preaching as ministers, we look out for those who receive the word with gladness. Do you remember the lame man at Lystra? Apostle Paul saw his faith as he received the word with gladness (Acts 14:9)
Today, I want to encourage to make a decision to receive the word of God with gladness. The Word of God is good; it is health and healing to those who find them (Prov. 4:22). You will be healed, promoted and exalted as you listen to the word of God with gladness.
May the Lord bless you. May you receive spiritual virtue as you spend time to listen to the podcast. May you receive virtue as you sit at your pastor’s feet. You will never lose in life. Be healed and transformed by the word of God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
