[John 12:24 KJV] “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
No star shines because it was created a star; every shining star shines because of the intense combustion that takes place within it. We cannot do less; we will shine as lights only when we burn as stars do. Except a corn of wheat falls into the ground and die it abides alone.
You will dry up and die if you don’t awake and push. There must be something burning in you if you are going to shine. (See Ephesians 3:20). Your output will be determined by your internal generation capacity. Whatever will show on the outward is determined by what works on the inside of you.
As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. You cannot think as a failure and succeed; you will succeed if you start thinking success.
[Proverbs 23:7 KJV] “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; But his heart is not with thee.”
It is our covenant right as children of God to succeed; but success does not come from grace, success comes from hard work. Although Apostle Paul became what he became by the grace of God, he did not take the grace on his life for granted. He laboured more than everyone in his day, and he outshined them all.
Every believer must achieve more than any unbeliever in his field but many of us are too pampered. We are unwilling to work and exert energy. Many of us are believing for an easy way out, but it is not always about the results, sometimes it’s about the journey!
There are four fundamental requirements to shinning again:
- Humility: The “corn of wheat must fall to the ground and die.” Humility and meekness are key. God resist the proud and gives grace to the meek. Humility is one of the master keys to shining
- Dying: You must die to self and to the world. If a man does not hate his very life, he cannot be a disciple of Christ.
- Suffering: The Bible teaches that if we suffer with Him, we shall reign with Him.
- Sacrificing: You must be willing to sacrifice your time, resources, and strength. You must be willing to do all it takes to make you shine and excel.
I don’t know where you are, but this is the time to;
- Read the visions which are written plainly on the tables: There is a vision that is being cast; God is speaking to us about a future; this is the time to read the message.
- Purpose: Make up your mind to run with the vision. We are building a church that is touching the world with the gospel which is the power of God to save. Make up your mind that wherever you go, whatever you do, where ever you live, you will give yourself to this vision. If I find a job as a banker, architect, engineer, teacher, physician, whatever; my primary goal would not be money but to touch my world.
- Plan: When you purpose without planning, you will be frustrated. You must have a plan. Plan your time, your resources and your actions. Failing to Plan how to attend the services is planning not to attend. Failing to plan is planning to fail! Let us plan.
- Pray: When we learn to commit our ways to the Lord, He establishes our going.
- Pursue until you begin to shine: You must push and work till things begin to work out!
This is our time to shine but we must burn if we will shine; we can’t sleep and expect to shine.
Bless you
