Matthew 17:19–21 (KJV) — “Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”
As we stand at the threshold of a new year, God calls us to rise in faith, prayer, and spiritual intensity. The disciples faced a situation that refused to bow to their authority – an impossible case. Yet Jesus revealed the secret: unshakable faith paired with the spiritual force of prayer and fasting.
This is God’s charge to the church for the year ahead: No mountain will stand unchallenged. No longstanding battle will resist divine intervention. No impossible situation will survive the atmosphere of faith and consecration.
The smallest measure of true faith, faith like a mustard seed, has the capacity to move mountains. As we enter the coming year, God is declaring over us:
Your faith will produce unusual results. Your voice will carry spiritual authority. Your disciplines in prayer and fasting will break limitations.Your long-standing impossibilities will bow to God’s power.
This is not a year to negotiate with darkness but a year to command, confront, and conquer. When the church rises with faith and spiritual fire, nothing shall be impossible unto us.
Let us step into the new year with boldness: Mountains will move. Barriers will fall. Answers will come. The impossible will become possible.

- Father, I thank You for Your unfailing Word that promises You will not withhold any good thing from me. Thank You for positioning me for answers, breakthroughs, and divine possibilities in the coming year.
- In the name of Jesus, as I lift my voice in prayer, I bring my requests before the Lord. I declare that I receive the answers I seek. Every faith-filled petition is returning with a testimony in Jesus’ name.
- By the authority of Jesus Christ, I dismantle and demolish every altar, power, or spiritual resistance blocking my answers. Every mountain, barrier, delay, and demonic interference is broken now! I step into the new year victorious and unstoppable.
