Exodus 3:10-12 KJV — “Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. [11] And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? [12] And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.“
I want to exhort you on the need to leverage what you have rather than focusing on what you don’t have. More often than not, we tend to take what we have for granted and worry over what we don’t have.
Imagine the response of Moses to the call of God; he was too worried about the fact that he can’t speak; instead of focusing on the power resident in his hands and the rod. Moses response was “I can’t speak…” Fair enough, you can’t speak but how about the power resident in your rod and hands.
Many of you are focusing on what you don’t have. You are taking what you have for granted and that is not right. You may not be tall but you are intelligent; you may not be rich but you may be smart; you may not have book smartness but you may have handy skills. Why not discover what you have and can leverage? Why focus on what you don’t have?
This is the time and the day when we have to learn to focus and leverage what we have rather than focus on what you don’t have. You must pray and ask God to show you what you have and what you can do with it. Stop focusing on what you don’t have and start leveraging what you have.
Stay blessed
