[Matthew 14:25-29 KJV] “And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus”.
There comes a time when everyone of us must stretch his or her faith a bit. In fact, the world is ruled by people who stretch their faith a bit. God uses People who stretch their faith a little and keep pushing. There is no greater secret to achieve more than to stretch your faith a little. You will achieve more when you are will to step out of the boat when everyone else is ok with staying in the boat.
According to our Scripture passage, there were about 12 men in the boat. They were all afraid and thought they had seen a spirit, they all heard the Lord say “it is I” and they all believed. But Apostle Peter stretched his faith a bit. He went the extra mile and became the only apostle to walk on the water with Christ. You can also dare and step out in faith. You can also dare the status quo and soar with eagles. This is a new day and it is time to practice and try out your faith.
You can do better and more than what you are doing now. Exercise yourself unto godliness. Act out what you read and heard. Walk on the sea with Jesus. Arise and go to places where Jesus Christ went when He walked the earth. Attempt great things with God. Go where God is going. Stretch beyond others. Do more and experience more. You will not miss you opportunity. God is willing to take you on an eagle’s expedition.
Stretch your faith! You will not miss the adventure! God is with us to take us on a ride of faith. You can rule if you stretch. You will lose nothing when you try. If you prayed 15 minutes daily, trust God to do 45 minutes. Go further and win big.
Be blessed, I love you!
