It is possible to live the superman life. Often times I see this advert on television which concludes by saying “some things are for men only” and I always wondered why anyone will develop a product that is for men only.
“And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Matthew 17:18-20 KJV)
Hmm! But the reality remains that some things will just not go nor get solved except by fasting and prayer. Many years ago a man brought his sick son to the disciples of Christ seeking healing but they tried for hours without any breakthrough; whereas Jesus Christ upon arriving cast it out by a word. Just one word and the demon was out.
Our Lord Jesus Christ did something that made Him appear like a superman; yet the later dialogue revealed that though the Lord acted superman, there was a simple secret that can make every man get the same results in every area of life. The Lord taught us that some things will not go out except by fasting and prayer.
Once we learn to pray with fasting, we will succeed in dealing with seemingly impossible situations. Nothing beats praying with fasting. Those who take time off to pray and abstain from some food and juices will get superman results. Praying with fasting is the simple but efficacious secret to supernatural results.
I pray that you will yield to the voice of the Holy Spirit and find time to fast and pray. This is our secret to supernatural results in a natural way. You can, I can, we can; let’s give it a try.
Don’t crush under the pressure. Your weaknesses and bondage can dissolve if you strive to pray with fasting. There is a world of possibilities shut to us that opens only to praying with fasting.
