“Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].”
We know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers; and spiritual wickedness in high places and the rulers of the darkness of this world. The truth is, life is hard and these last days are even more dangerous. We must, however, make a decision to stand. We must resolve to withstand and be determined about that.
It is important to note that “when the devil realises that he can’t take you out; he will decide to wear you out!” We must all groom ourselves to that place where we are resolved neither to surrender nor retreat. No matter what happens, we must resolve to stand our grounds. We must be determined and we must not give in.
Let us arm ourselves to stand firm even when it seems impossible to stand. We must be determined and not bulge to the pressure. This is the stance we must take. We must not be shaken so soon in our minds. We must work hard and keep our grounds in the faith.
