This month of February is the month of the acts of God. It is the month that we are believing God to see the beginning of miracles.
One of the very first acts of God that we must wait and hunger for is the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. This is the first act of God in every revival. Every revival begins with the outpouring of the Spirit.
[Joel 2:28-32 KJV] “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:”
“And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke”.
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come”.
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call”.
Acts of God
The Lord promised this many years even before the Lord Jesus Christ was born. The outpouring of the Holy Ghost is the first work of God among His people. This is the beginning of every revival.
The outpouring, however, begins with;
- Hearing
- Gathering
- Repentance
- Waiting and praying
The early Church heard about the Holy Ghost from the Lord Jesus Himself. He told them that the Father will send the Comforter.
Hearing
Galatians 3:5 teaches that the working of miracles and the anointing of the Spirit begins with the hearing of faith.
Gathering
After the early church heard of the promised Spirit, they gathered together in one room with one accord. They gathered and waited till the Spirit came in a mighty rushing wind.
Repentance
The third secret to this supernatural acts of God is repentance. In Act 2:39-47, Apostle Peter states clearly that every soul must repent qualifying for the outpouring.
Prayer
The fourth secret to the outpouring, which results in the acts of God is to wait in prayer and hearing. The Bible says when the Day of Pentecost was fully come; the Holy Ghost came in like a rushing wind to the room where they had gathered.
Now! the Bible teaches that, as a result of the outpouring, there shall be;
- Abundance of revelation
- Inspiried utterance
- Manifestations of signs and wonders
- The urge to pray
The truth is, upon Zion, there shall deliverance. This is the time to awake.
Stay blessed
