The only eating together sanctioned by the Lord and the Scriptures among believers is the Lord’s table.
Partying and dinning is not a culture of the church: neither does it reflect the spirit of Christ. The believer ought to eat for strength and not for pleasure. The world sits to eat and drink and then rise to play. I wish we could continue dining but I believe that there is too much worldliness in the church and I don’t want to fuel it any further.
The church has become too carnal, I cannot fuel it anymore. The years ahead are going to focus on the core business of the church

You can have the party at home but obviously not in church. We have to eat at home and when we come together. It is for the Lord’s table.
The danger of partying and dining in the church is that anytime you partake unworthily, you fall sick or die. There is a real danger when people come in to dine and wine with the saints with evil intentions.
I pray that you will allow the Lord to lead us to build higher standards for living. I pray that you will embrace this teaching. The devil is blinding us with a quest for pleasure and fun, instead of pursuing godliness and spirituality.
