Luke 22:31-34 KJV – And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
[33] And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. [34] And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
Listen to me and listen carefully! The devil is not after your marriage, job, health, money or family; he is only attacking these and using them as a means to get you to unbelief. What the devil is interested in, is your faith.
Many of us get overwhelmed and frustrated because we tend to want to fight back for marriage, the job, the money, the health and the peace; when in fact what we ought to have been fighting for is our faith. That is the trophy! Your faith is what he is fighting for. Don’t let him mess with you. Build up yourself on your most holy faith.
I pray for you today that you will not give up. You will keep pushing and praying and believing. May the Lord sustain your faith and cause you to win in the name of Jesus Christ!
