For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them”.
The Bible tells us that the just shall live by faith. Those who truly desire to live a just life have no option than to live by faith. Without faith it impossible to live a just life.
This life is full of uncertainties and unresolved challenges. Many of us are confused about what happened yesterday, we are not sure about today and are very uncertain about tomorrow. We are not so sure of what tomorrow will brings and the only way to face tomorrow with hope is to trust the person who holds tomorrow; and His name is Jehovah.
The just shall live by faith; what is faith? Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (See Hebrews 11:1) That is faith. Faith is a substance and an evidence. Faith is tangible. Faith must be real.
Why do we need faith?
- We are saved by faith
- We walk by faith
- All things are possible unto him that believe.
- Many things shall be unto you as your faith.
- Faith dispels doubt, and makes hope come alive
How then shall the just live by faith?
Hear by the Word:
Spend time in the word. Listen and watch faith messages. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. You must hear by the hearing of faith.
Speak what you believe:
Speaking what your believe is the Spirit of faith. If you believe, you speak. Faith speaks.
Keep walking inspite by the storm:
There may never be a perfect time but as you keep walking, you will get going and never fail or fall by the way. Just keep walking and don’t stop. Press on. Forget the things that are behind, reach forth to the goal and mark set before you.
Remember to testify about the goodness of the Lord:
In Mark 5:19, the man of Gadara went to ten cities and testified. The woman of Samaria went to the city and testified about what the man had told her. Go and testify! You overcome by your testimony.
Remember to also come back and say thank you:
This will save you from ingratitude. You must always testify and say thank you if your don’t want to be ungrateful and disloyal. I have seen enough ingratitude and I can say that the only cure is coming back to say thank you.
Remember, without faith the just will fail and faint. The just and righteous shall live by faith. I am not ashamed of the gospel; for by it comes faith for success.
