The Need to Break Out
As children of God, we have been called to break out of the ordinary and into the extraordinary. We have been called to live a life of victory, abundance, and prosperity. But how do we break out?
The Strategy to Break Out
There are two key strategies that we need to employ to break out:
- We need to know who we are in Christ: We need to have a firm understanding of our identity as children of God. We are not ordinary people. We are not limited by the same things that the world is limited by. We have been given the power of the Holy Spirit to live a life of victory.
- We need to step out in faith: We need to be willing to take risks and step out of our comfort zones. We need to believe that God has something greater for us than what we are currently experiencing.
When we combine these two strategies, we can break out into the extraordinary life that God has called us to.
Here are some specific steps that we can take to break out:
- Surrender your life to God: This means giving Him control of every area of your life. It means trusting Him with your past, present, and future.
- Repent of your sins: This means turning away from your sin and turning to God. It means asking for His forgiveness and His cleansing power.
- Receive the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the power of God that enables us to live a victorious life. When we receive the Holy Spirit, we are given the power to overcome sin, temptation, and the enemy.
- Get connected to a local church: A local church is a place where you can grow in your faith, learn from other believers, and serve the Lord.
- Read the Bible daily: The Bible is God’s Word, and it is full of instructions and guidance for living a victorious life.
- Pray regularly: Prayer is communication with God. It is the way that we connect with Him and ask for His help.
- Fellowship with other believers. Fellowship is spending time with other Christians. It is a great way to encourage each other and grow in your faith.
If you are ready to break out into the extraordinary life that God has called you to, I encourage you to take these steps today. God is waiting to do amazing things in your life.
