What will it take for you to succeed? Today’s devotion is on the price of success.
[3 John 1:2 KJV] “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.“
I wish above all things that God will bless you with health and wealth even as He has blessed you with salvayion; but we know that success does not come cheap. Success has a price and oftentimes, those who are willing to pay the pride attract success. I am exhorting you this morning to begin to pay the price of success and win.
Remmeber that success demands planning, hardwork, sacrifice, consistency, faith, patience, and passion. This is to say the least. Success don’t come cheap. May the Lord give your grace to win!
Thr following are some pricetags of success;
Dying, suffering and sacrifice
[John 12:24 KJV] “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
Mentoring and guides with higher graces
[1 Timothy 4:11-16 KJV] “These things command and teach. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.”
“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.”
Passion and zeal which is according to knowledge
“And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.” (John 2:17 KJV)
“For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.” (Romans 10:2 KJV)
Faith and patience
“that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12 KJV)
Consistency and importunity
“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” (Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV)
I have no doubt that you will press on and succeed faithfully.
Stay blessed.
