I want to talk to you today about success by the will of God. No matter how talented, gifted, or skilled you are, until you
- Pray
- Discover your purpose
- Plan
- Prepare yourself
- Roll up your sleeve and push
you will amount to nothing
[1 Samuel 4:9 KJV] “Be strong, and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.”
You must be ready to fold up your sleeve and push in effort. You just pray and discover your purpose. Your purpose must be in the will of God. You must work hard to know His will and flow with it. If your purpose is outside the will of God, it will not amount to much.
Remember, the building of the tower of Babel was a great vision but not in the will of God. Your vision is nothing worth pursuing if it is not in the will of God. Our purpose must be in His will if we need His help.
I pray that we will arise and plan intelligently. We have a purpose to preach the gospel of the kingdom in all of the world; but we plan to vigorously pursue our television ministry, rural radio ministry, literature campaign, community and greater love crusades, and internet ministry.
I pray for every one of you to prepare adequately, fold up your sleeves, and push harder. This is the time to arise and work. This is the time to push.
[1 Corinthians 16:13-14 KJV] “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.”
