It is a battle between the force of light and the forces of darkness.

Today’s Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:1-7

Whether you are aware of this war or not does not change anything. Whether you believe this war is real or not still does not change anything.  We all stand in the middle of a battle that is raging. You are in the middle of it all.

There is however no middle grounds, you are either light or darkness, good or wicked, godly or ungodly. Nobody is exempted. You are either fighting or captive. You will either gain your life or lose it. You can’t afford to be at ease and stand aloof (See Luke 11:23)

The Bible says that woe is he or she that withholds his or her sword from blood (See Jeremiah 48:10). We cannot sit on the fence, we must take hold of the armour and weapons of war and join in. It’s time to arise!

You are the battle axe of the Lord, His threshing instrument. You are commissioned to thresh the mountains and make them as chaff. You are bigger than any mountain you face. You are the person of the moment. It’s time to challenge your greatest fear and opposition.

The time of victory is now! Arise and march forward as men. Yes, we can! Only remember that though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh (See 2 Corinthians 10:3). The battle and warfare is spiritual. It takes spiritual understanding to win in this war.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, imaginations and thoughts that exalt itself above the knowledge of God (See 2 Corinthians 10:4). 

Your mind is the biggest battlefield in this war. What you think about yourself and your life matters so much. You must not let anything influence what you think about life. The only thing that must influence and direct your mindset and thought pattern is the Word of God.

Prophetic Prayer

Dear Father,

I pray that You will guide me with the cloud of Your Spirit by day and protect me with the fire of Your presence by night. Spirit of God please enlighten my spirit, to discern and to know how I ought to think. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Refuse to be defined by other people’s opinion of you but see yourself in the mirror of the Word of God.
