Condemnation is the expression of very strong disapproval; censure. Now the Bible tells us that in this dispensation, there is no such condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus; who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. This means that no one who is in Christ and walks after the Spirit will ever be condemned.
[Romans 8:1 KJV] “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”.
There are many sources of condemnation. It is one of the most effective tools of darkness. But thanks to God that there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ. The four types of condemnation are:
1. The condemnation of your heart;
[1 John 3:20-21 KJV] “For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. [21] Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God”.
2. The condemnation of God;
[2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 KJV] “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness”.
3. The condemnation of others;
[John 8:10-11 KJV] “When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? [11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more”.
4. The condemnation of the devil;
[1 Timothy 3:6-7 KJV] “Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. [7] Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil”.
I pray for you that as you stay in Christ and walk by His Spirit, may you live above every condemnation. Be blessed!
I love you;
