Victory Over Giants

Let us pray that anything or personality or beast that is trying to scare you with its size, experience, and numbers, must fall to your weapons as the giant Goliath fell before David.

[1 Samuel 17:43 KJV] “And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods”.

Anything that is trying to scare faith out of you and incite fear must fall for your sake. You will not lose your faith in Christ Jesus. You will win and not fail. You must win over giants and beasts, and you are definitely going to.

There are times when things and people try to intimidate with their size, experience, and numbers. You must understand that the God we serve will honour and respect faith and not size or numbers. You shall not be intimidated nor terrified by any giant. You will stand tall and win over giants.

The following are 4 secrets to win the battle over giants;

1. Establish the right cause of the battle:

It is needful to establish the right cause for even fighting. There are some battles you can do without. You must be sure there is a good cause to engage the giant standing before you.

2. Share your little testimonies:

Speaking and words have a way of impacting on faith and beliefs. There is, therefore, the need to speak your past victories to your present challenges. You must speak of your past exploits to your present challenges and to those who are around you. David could confront Goliath because he remembered what God had done in his life in the past. Speaking positively has a way of lifting your spirit and giving your faith a boost.

3. Use weapons you have proven:

In confronting and defeating giants, you must use weapons you have proven. There are many ways of killing a cat but some of the ways are not for boys. It is better to use weapons you have proven, rather than to mimic the giants. There is a way giants walk because they are big, but there is a way you must walk because of who you are.

4. Step out in faith and in the name of the Lord:

We know that “the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are safe”. You cannot win against in your own might. To win over every evil, you need the strength that the Lord supplies.

I have no doubt in my mind that you can win the battle against a 20,000-strong army with only 320 faithful and fearless soldiers marching in the name of the Lord because the God of Gideon is with you. Fear not, march forward.
