The Lord sent me to exhort you to prepare for war. The devil, your adversary is roaring like a lion seeking whom he may devour. There is therefore a war raging as a result. The kings of the earth are raging and an incredible host of satanic forces have been released these days to attack and fight the church; but we are more than conquerors.
For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
1 Corinthians 14:8 KJV
We are more than conquerors. We have the victory and must prepare for war. We fight from the position of victory. Our core mandate is to enforce the victory and conquest of the cross. As we worship at the feet of the cross, we are receiving strength to prepare for war.
Ephesians 6:10-18 exhorts us to
- Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might:
Weakling never win the war. The clarion call is to prepare for war. The devil is fierce and wicked. He is merciless and heartless but we are more than conquerors. The victory however comes to those who strengthen and fortify themselves in the Lord.
He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. As we connect and aide in God, we find shelter from the stormy blast.
- Put on the whole armour of God:
Put on the whole armour; the armour of God. Put on the armour of life; put on Christ and make no room for the flesh. The church cannot be naked. We must be fully dressed, dressed in a full war regalia. Put on the elements of truth, salvation, readiness to preach the gospel of peace, righteousness. It’s time to search and wear the armour of light as a soldier ready for warfare. It’s time to fight the good fight of faith.
- Take a stand to withstand:
Resolve to withstand; resolve to resist any aggression from the kingdom of darkness by faith and fortitude. Make up your mind to withstand. Tell yourself that it is a ‘no retreat, no surrender attack’ on darkness. Nothing will discourage us. We are determined to fight. It is time to prepare for war. We are leaving no stone unturned. We are taking a stand today. No turning back. We have pledged allegiance to the King. We would be loyal to it.
- Take a hold of the sword of the spirit and the shield of faith:
We are really preparing for war. Everyone in this end times army must take hold of the Word of God and faith in Christ. We are into an offensive battle against darkness at work, at home, in the street, at church, everywhere, every time. We will not and must not leave the Word of God behind; carry it with you. We are on a journey to tame evil and darkness. It is a fight of faith, the good fight of faith.
- Finally, watch and pray for all saints with perseverance:
You cannot be ready for war against evil when your eyes and mind is shut. You must watch; you must pray!
Remember, it is time to prepare for war. The Church is arising; the HighCity Church is arising. The trumpet is sounding, the oracle of God is speaking, it is time to prepare for war.
Strengthen the weak and hold up the fallen. Carry with you all; don’t leave your wounded behind. God will heal this army and prepare us for war once we arise.
