Why should you wait on God for grace? We will be spending the next four days trusting God for a grace experience.
[Acts 4:31-33 KJV] “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.”
“And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.“
I was telling some brethren that we all need a grace break because sometimes the going gets tough. There are times when obeying God become difficult because all hell breaks lose against you.
The Early Church needed a grace break because opposition arose. The elders of the Jews threatened them for preaching in the name of Jesus Christ as commanded and they had to go back to Him for grace. We have come to such a junction and we must arise and pray for grace.
How to wait on God for grace
We understand that praying alone will not release grace fully, that’s why;
- We must be Anointed and filled with the Holy Ghost
- We must step out and proclaim the truth in all the city
- We must be of one heart and mind
- We must give to support the work of outreach and great grace will be upon us
Today, we begin the first step. We are spending time in prayer and we will experience the power of God. Just as we fast and pray!
