The church is called to preach the gospel because the power to save the world is in the preaching of the gospel. God has chosen to save the world by the foolishness of preaching.
[1 Corinthians 1:21-24 KJV] “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.”
We, therefore, strive to preach Christ because He is the power and the wisdom of God; full of grace and truth. Anytime you are soaking in the word of God, you are receiving the power and the wisdom of God for living and success. Jesus Christ is that word and He is the power and wisdom of God; really full of grace and truth. That is why we preach and you must believe Jesus Christ.
In preaching and teaching and manifesting Christ, we tell the stories of the faith of people who put no limits on God. People who trust God and saw His hand manifested. That is the story of faith that we tell. We keep it simple, and real; we don’t impress our hearers with our theology. We strive to feed their hope. That is all it takes to preach Christ.
I prophesy against anything that is trying to steal your testimony. You shall be able to lift your head again and speak boldly concerning the faith. You shall arise and stand upon the rooftop to declare the goodness of the Lord. This is your day and a day of testimony.
Many shall believe because you preached Christ. Many shall escape destruction because you preached. Your testimony will turn many to God. The nations shall seek the Lord because you preached.
Be blessed; I love you!
