Today’s devotional seeks to solve one of the major problems of our time. Many of the people in our generation are unable to achieve anything because they are waiting to have everything in place before they start out to do what they are supposed to do.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:1-3)

Now, moving right on to yield more with less, you must do the following;

1. Set Goals:

You must be able to prayerfully determine the one thing that matters the most. In Habakkuk 2, the prophet stood upon his watch to see what he may answer when he is questioned. Until you know what you seek to achieve, why and how to achieve it, you are not ready for impact. Setting clear goal is the first step to yielding more with less. So your first key is GOALS SETTING

2. Cast Vision:

The Lord said “write the vision boldly on tables, that he may run that reads it”. Once you are sure of what needs to be done, why and how it must be done, the next sensible step is to show others who matter, where you see yourself in the future and how they fit in.

For instance, Sandy School (A Christian basic school established by Pastor Simpe) has the goal of offering quality but affordable basic education. Therefore, according to this second key, our community must know that they would have affordable and quality education for their children when they come to Sandy School.

To effectively cast vision;

1. Be careful to say less for more;
2. Say only what must be said to only those who must hear it. Keep your words few.

3. Strategise:

For me, a strategy is the overall plan and principles that governs your pursuit. This is expressed in branding and in the brand elements themselves.

You will succeed at strategising when you listen to those you seek to attract and not those you seek to keep. This must be thought through and through.

This means that to be effective you must listen to those outside you and not those within.

4. Be Tactical:

This deals with drafting the practical steps to achieve you goals. It requires brainstorming and consultation. Tactics flows from strategy. Always ask where your actions or steps are leading.

Being tactical is all about asking two questions; how and why?

In the parable of talents, all the master needed from the stewards was profit. The person that received the talent need to think, how? (Matthew 25:14 -30) This is your most important stage.

Through brainstorming, you will be able to draft, evaluate and select the most efficient option.

5. Narrow the Focus: 

Determine what is important, cut all excesses; outsource subsidiary task; keep to the main things. When you are able to cut excess and do only what matters, you would yield more. When you become a Jack of all trades you will be a master of none.

6. Raise Others:

Those you add value to make you valuable. Teach others to do what you do. That is how you raise others to take over. You must be smart at identifying leadership early enough.

7. Work on it:

Finally, from time to time, make time to appraise your work, celebrate you gains, and re-strategise for rebound. Ask yourself, what did I set out to do? What was I able to do? What must I do better next time. Then celebrate your gains.

May the good lord help us! May you achieve more with less in the name of Jesus Christ!

Prophetic Declarations

Now repeat the following prophetic prayers and confessions aloud after me;

I know that I was created in the image of God after His life to rule in the midst of His creation, to be fruitful, to replenish the earth, to multiply and to subdue the Earth.

I therefore decree that whatever, sin and disobedience stole from my life, by my faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, I have it back in Jesus’ name!

I declare to myself, to the forces of darkness, and to the powers that be, that I have the gift of righteousness and the abundance of grace; I am set to rule in life by Jesus Christ. And in the name of Jesus Christ, I settle for nothing less, Amen!

(Lift up your right hand and declare loudly):

I thank God for my life, for my family, for my network, for my work, for this church, for my ministry, and for this day and this city.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I refuse to sow among thorns. I break up my fallow grounds. I am getting ready to access some new dimensions in life. I will tap into my untapped potential today!

In the name of Jesus, I surrender anything in my life, my family, my network, my work and in this church that is not aligned with the Word of God, so that I can access God’s best for me!

(Say it aloud) I declare in the name of Jesus Christ, may the kingdom of God be established in my life, my family, my network, my work, in this city.

I declare that the will of God shall be done here as it is done in heaven. Anything that is contrary to the will of God, shall not be permitted in this city and in my life or family, in Jesus’ name!

(Lift up your hands as you say this)

“Now, I lift up prayer for the leadership in my life, network, work, family and city.

Thank You o God for their lives! I pray that You shall forgive their sins, mistakes, and misjudgments.

I ask for courage, strength, wisdom and direction for them. Lord lead them; strengthen them; lead and strengthen my parents, my husband, my pastor, and the leaders of this great nation. Send them strength, help and wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ!

Father, I repent! I give up my wickedness and stubbornness. Please forgive me! Create in me a clean heart! Renew a right spirit within me! Send light to my spirit! Restore joy and peace.

Father, restore unto me every lost opportunity to do right, every lost destiny and relationship, every lost virtue, anointing, and zeal in the name of Jesus Christ!

In the name of Jesus, I forgive those who have wronged me. I refuse to bear grudge nor get bitter or resent anyone.

I declare that any evil device projected against me, my family, this church, this city, and my network by the wicked one to divide and rule us is dismantled, destroyed, and nullified in Jesus’ name.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I plead for mercy and grace, any thorn in the flesh or arrow projected to afflict and humble me or anyone in my life, my family, network and work is removed, it is cast out and broken in the name of Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for blessing, enlargement, increase and growth.

I pray that the presence and the hand of God shall be with me; to empower and protect me against evil. God will not lead me into temptation, He will deliver me from evil and nothing shall by any means hurt me.

In the name of Jesus Christ, any evil power seeking access to my life, my family, my children, this church or my ministry to afflict or plunder our goods and gains is rebuked. We fiercely resist them now in Jesus’ name!

We fortify our selves and put on the whole armour of God; we wrestle and resist every principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places in this church, this city and in my family, in Jesus’ name!

We exercise authority over every serpent or scorpion or every power of the enemy; nothing shall by any means hurt us.

In the name of Jesus Christ, any strange person planted in my life or family or network or city is cast out, resisted and disarmed.

Any strong forces occupying my Mountain of Promise are rebuked and dislodged in Jesus’s name!

Every thorn in my field that intends to chokes the Word of God in my life is uprooted now!

In the name of Jesus Christ, my mind and thought patterns are improving now, enlarging and empowered.

I engage the weapons of war which are mighty through God against every imagination, thoughts or high things that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God.

I cast them down now, I pull them down, and I tear them apart, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Glory to God! I am ruling, expanding, increasing, and impacting my world. I rule as a king and serve as a priest.
Glory to God, Amen!
