Matthew 16:18 KJV – And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
We are the church and the building blocks. When Jesus Christ said He will build his church, He meant that you will be built up in a way to withstand the harsh gates and schemes of hell. You are the building blocks and parts of the church. We are the people that he is building up. The Bible says we are the lively stones that are being built up into a spirit house, to offer perfect sacrifices.
You are not a weakling! You are built to withstand shocks and hardness as a good soldier. You are built with the right material to withstand shocks! I pray that you will be able to withstand the shocks of life without crushing. This is the promise. God is not through with us yet. He is ready to build each of us so well that we will not crash.
- Pray that God will build you into a house that can withstand every shock! Pray that you will be able to endure hardness as a good soldier.
- Pray that you will be found faithful even in the face of afflictions and trials. May you not disappoint the creed and the brotherhood. Receive strength and press on!
- Thank God for grace. Thank God for favour and grace to withstand even in the face of trials and tribulation.
