I want to share with you one thing that you can do today to advance the cause of Christ and the kingdom of God, and that is to share your testimony with someone today.
I do not doubt that if all the people who have genuinely experienced a touch of God would stand and speak up, the world will be filled with more faith than ever.
Many years ago, a man was healed and this sparked serious debate among the Jews and the disciples. In the heat of the debate, someone spoke very intelligently; seeing that the man who had been touched by the Lord was an adult and not a child.
Many of us who have been touched by power are adults and must stand and speak for ourselves. Don’t let someone share your testimony; learn to speak for yourself.
[Acts 4:19-22 KJV] “But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”
“So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.”
“For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.”
Speak for yourself
I want to encourage you to learn and try to share your own story and testimony. Many of us are grown adults and we can share our testimony and story ourselves.
We can fill the world with faith when we learn to speak of what the Lord has done for us.
