Live within your means
Many of us spend money we are yet to earn and that is keeping us poor. You must try to live within your means. Don’t try to impress anyone. You must be you and that is alright. Never spend money you have not earned. Don’t enjoy now and pay later. The borrower is always a servant of the lender.
Plan your buying and spending
Avoid impulse buying. Don’t buy what you have not planned for. Whenever God blesses you with money, save, sow and plan your spending on the rest. It is more blessed to give than to receive. The Liberal soul shall be made fat. When you give to the poor, you have lent to the Lord. Remember that failing to plan is planning to fail.
Don’t live from hand to mouth
Learn to gather in a basket, put in a store house and eat from the store. Farmers who go to farm, to harvest what they will need in the kitchen, end up losing their harvest. You must learn to harvest into a basket, stock your store and spend from there.
